In October, CVMM held a two-day masterclass for early to mid-career researchers focused on systematic reviews of randomised controlled trials and how they can be best used to guide evidence-informed medicine.

For 2023, we were fortunate enough to host our symposium at the Garvan Institute of Medical Research, where we welcomed our three keynote speakers: David Lloyd, Chief Executive Officer of the Heart Foundation; Catherine Kellick, Principal Policy Officer from Office for Health and Medical Research; and Jason Kovacic, President of The Australian Cardiovascular Alliance and the Executive Director of the Victor Chang Cardiac Research Institute.
